Regressions using standardized coefficients come in handy when the independent variables are expressed in different units. In contrast to an unstandardized coefficients, the standardized coefficients are measured in units of standard deviation. It is similarly easy, however, to determine which of your dependent variables significantly influence your dependent ones.
- At the top center in the Statistics Charts menu, click on the Standardized Regression icon.
- Choose a dependent variable you're interested in decomposing. Drag and drop the variable into the Dependent Variable box.
Choose one or multiple independent variables you are interested in. Drag and drop them into the Independent Standardized Columns box to explore their relationship with your dependent variable.
The colors on your chart indicate whether your independent variables are positively, negatively, or not significant to your dependent variable.
